This sycamore was a treat to work with! It was given to me by a local arborist who took it down a nearby city street. The bowl has some really nice quilted figure which was thoughtfully placed on the bottom of the bowl, both inside and outside to capture it fully. The carving is clean and sparse so as not to be overpowering.
This is a great size for a salad bowl for a small group, a popcorn bowl or where it would really shine is as a fruit bowl where the varied colors and muted wood will allow colorful fruit to pop!
