This pepper mill is made from a beautiful piece of Spalted birch. I’ve saved this material for years after aquiring after a storm from the woods behind my parents’ house. This mill is ergonomic, and well suited to pepper, herbs, salt or whatever you have. The mechanism is a high quality ceramic CrushGrind mechanism that’s adjustable and very solidly made.
