Large Walnut Salad Bowl
This big walnut bowl was made from a tree that fell into a nearby creek. My friend and I cut it up while standing in waist deep water before dragging it ashore with a tractor.
This size is great for entertaining or bringing that big, fresh salad over to a party. Enough room to serve a dozen or more. The bands add a little visual interest to the contrasting light a dark woods. A few bug holes were filled with epoxy. Nothing to worry about, a reflection of the history of the tree and the entire piece!
