I got this wood from a local tree service who took this tree down nearby. Sycamore turns and carves beautifully and has a lot of interesting flecking and patterns. The carvings and colors are largely inspired by the PA German hex signs common on barns in this area.
This is a big bowl. Perfect for large salads, bread making or other kitchen prep.
