Some friends had a cherry tree taken down recently and I was able to use the wood for a bunch of things. It’s hard to for me to find around here and is always a pleasure to work with. This bowl was turned, hand carved, painted and sanded to create this unique effect. The color combination is a favorite of mine. The cherry will dark a bit with age and really pop against the light blue.
