Figured Ash Bowl
It’s become very hard to find healthy ash lately. This is a beautiful piece from a tree taken down by the city of Reading awhile back. When I started turning, I used more ash than anything because they were just starting to die off from the ash borer. Now they are almost all gone and what pieces you do get are unusable. So this may be one of the last. A beautiful piece of highly figured ash. A great size for salads, a fruit bowl or for serving whatever you please!
