The combination of this blue on the warm, carved birch is always striking! The wood is from a sick tree I felled right here by the shop. It’s then turned, carved, painted, sanded and finished. It looks great but is fully functional with a really durable no maintenance hardwax oil finish. It’s a great daily user for anything from morning eggs and toast, to afternoon soup or evening pasta.
