This is the first finished bowl from a butternut tree that fell on the hill just a short distance from where I sit writing this. There’s some really interesting colors here. Dark browns like walnut, creamy whites and some sprinkles of red and violet. This bowl is a nice size for serving or as a fruit bowl.
