I love working with beech but I don’t often get a chance too. I was lucky to get this large piece from a friend. It has beautiful contrast and I love the shape. As someone who makes a lot of bowls I appreciate subtle differences in lines and curves and the way the curve here rolls under the form gives it pleasing, anchored feel. It’s quite large but still very practical for entertaining and making big salads.
