Three Color Birch Bowl
This birch bowl got the full treatment with several of my signature looks. First turned, then carved, then painted, then carved, then sanded. It gives the piece a really unique look and is a great reflection of the characteristics that make my work unique. This birch is from right here on the hill by my shop. It has a nice warm tone. I stabilized 2 knots in the bowl with epoxy to make the piece watertight and functional.
